Eligibility/Renewal

  • Students with a 3.75 High School GPA and an ACT composite of 28 or 3.5 HS GPA and an ACT composite of 30 are eligible to apply.
  • Students must have attended a New Mexico high school for at least one year and graduate from an accredited NM high school. (Home schooled candidates must take the New Mexico GED prior to their first semester at NMSU.)
  • The scholarship is renewable for up to 8 semesters, or graduation (whichever comes first). Students must maintain a 3.5 cumulative NMSU GPA and complete 12 computable credit hours per semester.
