The President's Associates Scholarship Program

The President's Associates (PA) Scholarship program provides outstanding New Mexico students with a remarkable educational experience.

PA Scholars receive the most prestigious scholarship available to students at New Mexico State University, worth over $30,000 over four years. They participate in the Honors College at NMSU, taking challenging and captivating courses with other top students. They conduct undergraduate research or undertake creative arts projects.

Through the PA enrichment program, PA scholars also interact with the university's top professors, administrators, and leaders in the community. Through social events, they meet one another and develop friendships. They receive special mentoring and academic advising, which assists them in securing internships, research, and international study abroad experiences.

The President's Associates Honors Scholarship is awarded to new entering freshmen – enrolling directly out of high school – with markedly superior academic ability. Selection is competitive and based on proven academic achievements and extracurricular activities.
