Phi Eta Sigma is a national honor society for college freshmen. Our goal is to encourage and reward academic excellence among first-year college students.
The oldest and largest freshman honor society, Phi Eta Sigma was founded at the University of Illinois in 1923. We now have more than 300 chapters throughout the United States and more than 550,000 members.
The NMSU chapter of Phi Eta Sigma will hold its ceremony for induction of new members on April 26, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Corbett Center Middle Ballroom. New Phi Eta Sigma student members, their parents, and the university community are invited to attend the induction ceremony and reception to follow.
