Crimson Scholar Residential Mentors (CSRM) and Peer Advisors (CSPA)
The Crimson Scholar Residential Mentors and Peer Advisors live in NMSU's Living and Learning Communities and provide a variety of services to residents in their respective communities and across campus. Mentors and Peer Advisors contribute to overall student success by sharing their study skills and knowledge through peer advising. The Mentors and Peer Advisors are also responsible for developing extra-curricular social and cultural programs for the Living and Learning Communities to which they are assigned. This is an exciting opportunity for outstanding students to share their knowledge and skills as well as to develop programs for residence hall students.
Several CSRMs and CSPAs will be hired for the 2008-2009 academic year. CSRMs will be assigned to the Honors Residential College and will live in either Monagle Hall or Piñon Hall; CSPAs will be assigned to Living and Learning Communities in science, humanities, engineering, business, agriculture and education. Both in-state and out-of-state students may apply.
