These students are the center of gravity in the University Honors Program and are expected to serve as models for what the life of a fully-engaged, academic all-star, student can be at New Mexico State University. Starting with the Honors First Year Seminar and ending with an Honors Capstone projects, Conroy Honors Scholars will enrich their education, both in and out of the classroom, working closely with faculty on scholarly projects, serving in the campus community, and exploring their place in the world with cultural engagement, study abroad experiences, and service for the greater good. Conroy Honors Scholars are expected to graduate with University Honors Distinction and will be prepared for achievement beyond NMSU! |
This program is an update to the long-standing PAE Scholar Program now as a partnership with the Conroy Honors College, the NMSU Foundation, and the Office of the President. PAE Leader Scholars will be strong academic achievers, will engage in leadership experiences, both in and out of the classroom, and will be prepared to use their leadership capacities as citizens or professionals for the good of New Mexico and the world at large. All PAE Leader Scholars will graduate with an Honors Certificate and a resume of experience to ensure success beyond graduation.
