Group of 9 Ambassadors

Meet our Ambassadors!

Zaira Martin

Hi, my name is Zaira Martin! I am currently a senior double majoring in Government and Criminal Justice with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. I currently serve as an ambassador for the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and Chief Justice for the ASNMSU Supreme Court. I am thrilled to be a part of the Honors College and look forward to sharing with other students the opportunities available at the Honors College.

Katie Calentine

My name is Katie Calentine and I am a senior studying Biology. My interests include writing, reading, and learning about anything and everything (but especially science!). A fun fact about myself is that when I was 7 I was in a surgical clinical trial that saved my vision.

Shiloh Payne

Heyo, my name is Shiloh Payne, and I’m a senior in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In addition to Honors College Ambassador, I am the current Vice President of Tau Beta Pi, Presidental Ambassador, and Engagement Coordinator for SACNAS. My passion is in inventing the technology of the future and cleaning up this mess we have made on our planet. I am excited to serve as your Ambassador!

Brianna Lopez

My name is Brianna R. Lopez, 19, and I’m a sophomore studying to get my Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Criminal Justice, with a minor in Spanish. After college I plan to go to law school and become an attorney specializing in disability law, but for now I’m just a student who enjoys growing cactuses, reading fantasy novels, and petting my dog.

Simon Driver

I’m a junior at NMSU, currently majoring in chemistry, with minors in physics, biochemistry, and human biology. I hope to attend medical school, and conduct research concerning epidemiology and virology. When I’m not working in the lab (although sometimes in the lab as well!), I enjoy reading and writing far too much. I can’t wait to meet new people as an Honors Ambassador, and help expand the student community on campus!

Eveline Vazquez-Delgado

Hello, my name is Eveline Vazquez Delgado. I am currently a senior triple majoring in Criminal Justice, Psychology and Spanish. I am currently a Gilman Alumni. I am really excited to be an Honors Ambassador and share with every student all the opportunities that Honors College has available.

Jacqueline Munoz

Hello! My name is Jaqueline Munoz. I am a senior majoring in Accounting and Information Systems and minoring in Finance and Business Law. Once I graduate, it is my desire to earn my CPA license and pursue law school to become a corporate or immigration lawyer. I am very excited to be an ambassador and look forward to helping other students reach their full potential through the Honors College!
