Dr. Manal Hamzeh is a full professor at the Department of Borderlands and Ethnic Studies (BEST) at New Mexico State University. Manal’s research is distinguished by being transborderly in scope, intimately collaborative and decolonial art-based methodologies. She is a second-generation Palestinian born in Jordan and engaged with the struggles of Palestinians. Living in linguistic exile and several borderlands, she is an Arabyya who thinks/feels/translates in/with Arabic and English. Manal holds a Ph.D. in Social Justice Education from the New Mexico State University.
