Message from the Dean

“As a bright but unfocused first-generation college student launching off to the university, I had no idea just how powerful the life of the university could be for transforming lives. Being recruited into Honors during my undergraduate career was an essential piece of that transformation and those Honors experiences have informed my professional development and brought me to NMSU where it is my highest privilege to serve.

For too many people, Honors conjures up notions of elitism and harder-faster work. In the Conroy Honors College, we are much more committed to enriched experience, both in and out of the classroom, that helps a diverse body of bright and motivated students to aim higher and achieve more so they are equipped to change the world for good.

If you are looking to do more with your university education, we are here and ready with both challenge and support.

Welcome to the Conroy Honors College!"
